Colombian journalist, Jineth Bedoya Lima (R) and Russian human rights and peace activist Valentina Cherevatenko receive the 2016 Anna Politkovskaya Award and Special Award respecitvely during the RAW (Reach All Women) in WAR event at the Women of the World Festival at the South Bank Centre in London, UK, Saturday March 11, 2017. Rape victim, Bedoya Lima wins her award for speaking out on behalf of the tens of thousands of women and girls who were raped during the 52 year civil war. Cherevatenko receives the Anna Politkovskaya Special Award for continuing her human rights and peace building work despite facing the threat of imprisonment in the Russian Federation.
